Red Wine Punch

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 Parts Red Wine
  • 1 Part Soda (7-Up or Sprite)
  • 3 tbsp Powdered (Icing) Sugar
  • 3 tbsp Powdered Orange (Or Lemon) Slices

HOW TO COOK:

  1. Mix large parts of powdered sugar with red wine in a punch bowl, and stirwell.
  2. Add the soda, plenty of ice, and drop in a few orange (or lemon) slices.
  3. Serve immediately.

Milk Tea

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 bags of tea (preferably black or oolong tea)
  • 4-6 oz (125-185 ml) hot water
  • 4 oz (125 ml) sweetened condensed milk
  • 4-6 oz (125-185 ml) ice cubes (or ice tubes)
  • Tapioca Pearls (optional)

HOW TO COOK:

  1. Prepare hot water.
  2. Place tea bags in a large mug then pour in hot water. Let it steep for about 2 minutes.
  3. Remove tea bags then pour in condensed milk. Stir until completely mixed.
  4. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes (fill at least half of the glass). Pour in tea mixture and allow to cool.
  5. Add Tapioca Pearls (optional)
  6. Serve cold and enjoy!

Sago Gulaman Palamig

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 cups medium tapioca pearls
  • 1 sachet gelatin powder
  • 3 cups brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 2 to 3 cups water

HOW TO MAKE:

  1. Cook the tapioca according to package instructions or refer to the Tahorecipe. Set aside.
  2. Cook the gelatin according to package instructions. Set aside.
  3. Place the brown sugar in a cooking pot and caramelize using low heat.
  4. When the sugar starts to melt, put in water and vanilla extract. Let boil and stir until the sugar dissolves. Note: us the lowest heat possible so that the sugar will not burn.
  5. Turn off heat and let cool.
  6. In a glass, combine some tapioca pearls, sliced gelatin, 3 tablespoons of sugar mixture, and a cup of cold water. Stir.

Cucumber Lemonade

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 Cucumber (6-8in), sliced
  • 6 Lemons, juiced
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/2 cup White Sugar

HOW TO MAKE:

  1. Make a simple syrup by stirring the water and sugar together in a saucepan over medium heat. Heat until just about to boil and the sugar has dissolved. Place in refrigerator 30 minutes, or until cool.
  2. Place the cucumber slices in a blender or food processor; blend until mashed into a pulp.
  3. Pour the cucumber pulp into a fine mesh strainer place over a bowl to catch the liquid; allow to sit until you have about 2/3 cup of liquid from thecucumber, about 15 minutes.
  4. In a pitcher, stir the simple syrup, cucumber liquid, and lemon juice together. Add more water depending on your taste preference. You may also add the cucumber pulps.
  5. Serve cold.
